Our first collaboration with Coca-Cola involved the making of the 2011 Super Bowl advert ‘The Siege’. Then in 2013, we worked on ‘Santa'S Letters’, a wonderful Christmas advert revealing the secrets of Santa’s workshop. In the same wintery spirit, Tale of Contour starts in the Arctic and brings the audience on a journey through festive China, sunny Brazil and summery New York City to celebrate 100 years of the iconic contour bottle.
Under Rafael Martin’s art direction, the team at Painting Practice delivered some beautiful colourful concepts, spamming the world in just a few designs. Rafael also worked on the colour script to create a harmonious aesthetic, linking all the locations together. This is one of our many collaborations with Passion Pictures Animation. We worked with them on the exciting Nike - ‘The Last Game’ and BBC Sports Rio Olympics, and most recently collaborated on a heart-warming commercial for James Wellbeloved. Tale of Contour was the first project I worked on when I joined Painting Practice. I remember feeling really excited to help the team make this beautiful advert happen.
